Well, here is another update of the Price familia. Things are going great. Crazy but great! Our little is growing up so fast it is hard to believe. I get emotional thinking about her growing up and how just last year she was still being swaddled at night and now she's running around and pushing her limits. I thank God everyday for my family and even when I get frustrated I know that I am not given anything I can not handle so I have to remind myself that for when I get frustrated with everything being so chaotic. Currently, Kris and I see each other one night a week : ( But again... God wouldn't work things out like this if we couldn't handle it and if there wasn't a purpose behind it... I hope. Work is going good for me, I love my clients and really feel fulfilled in what I am doing and I am glad I found my field of interest. School is going great! I finally love my classes and love learning about the brain and the social services field. Once I finish my Social services degree I will be transferring to either ASU or NAU to complete my masters and hopefully doctorate in human services/ forensic psychology. These are dreams of mine, who knows if it'll happen! Kris is also changing up his work field. Currently he is applying for the Border Patrol and has a written test to complete Oct 10. Hopefully he does well! If he gets in than things will be changing big time for us! I am so proud of him for working so hard for us and Zoie is so lucky to have such a good Daddy! So that about covers it for Mommy and Daddy. Wedding plans are going great! I can't wait because it is going to be so beautiful and also so much fun! Now, onto the good stuff! Ms. Zoie Lynn age 16 months going on 16 years! Our little girl is so grown up! She amazes me at how smart she is! She is walking and able to get on and off the bed by herself safely, she feeds herself (fairly) well with her spoon or fork. She is 2 1/2 feet tall and weighs 22 lbs. She has size 5 feet, almost 5 1/2 and wears 12-18 month clothes. She isnt talking much yet, and by talking I mean real words. She does plenty of her own talking but nothing Daddy or I can understand. She is pushing her boundaries! Oh my goodness is she learning to push buttons and Mommy cant help but laugh at her when she does, haha. She gets this look where she raises her eyebrows at me and has this, " come on you cant tell this face no!" look and of course, Zoie wins and Mommy gives in. Hey, what can I say I am a sucker for those beautiful brown eyes! She did have a little accident last week where she fell and bit through her lip, I KNOW! SO SCARY! Kris and I rushed her to UMC hospital where they looked at it and said stitches wouldn't be a good idea because she would probably just bite on them and make it worse so we left it alone. She did get a Dr. order for as much ice cream and Popsicle that mommy would allow so she totally loved that! We went to McDonalds after leaving the hospital and shared a mini Mcflurry and the entire time she is going, "Mmmm". Every time she sees food she goes, "Mmmm". I LOVE IT! She will read all day long! She loves reading! She also loves to sing especially to her cartoon the Backyardagains, she loves them! There is so much more going on but I have to study for a psych test tomorrow, gotta maintain my A average! Plus being at work by 7 am is tough... ahh such is life! I will leave you with one of my favorite motivational phrases I say almost everyday.
If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to your
mountain, "MOVE!" and it WILL move... and NOTHING will be
impossible for YOU!
