New Pictures of the familia!

Lots of new and exciting times!

Hello friends and family! Long time no blog right?? I am sorry but now that Zoie is almost two, OMG! I cant find time to blog. Well, lots have changed and all for the better too. I will start with Zoie the apple of my eye she is doing amazing. She is seeing a speech therapist which has been working wonders for her speech. She knows how to say dog, kitty, sippy cup, Daddy, Mama, Nana, please, thank-you and her two favorite words NO and MINE. She is very good at those two. She is running around and loves to climb and get into everything! Her favorite things are reading her touch and feel books, she loves farm animals, she loves feeding the dogs at her Nana and Grandpa's house, she loves to be outdoors playing and loves "wa-wa". She loves to eat sometimes she eats more than me! Her favorite foods are grapes, spaghetti, peanut-butter sandwiches, apples and blackberries! She ate an entire package of blackberries, 2 PB sandwiches and strawberries and she was one happy camper!
Kris is doing very well too. He is in the process of getting into border patrol and on to his second round of paperwork since there is an extreme amount of red tape in getting in. He is still working hard at his job as the GM. He is such an amazingly supportive father and fiancee that I really thank God every night for him and Zoie. We also got ourselves a new little puppy, well she isn't so little anymore but she is still my puppy. A baby basset hound puppy named Dori. We also got ourselves a little kitten, yes I am crazy, named Reyna because she is the new queen of the house. Speaking of home we found ourselves a wonderful 4 bed 3 bath home. It is amazing and we are so happy. It is in a very nice neighborhood and we have a nice backyard, which I have many plans for the landscaping which makes me nervous because I have never had a green thumb truthfully I have never gardened so I dont know what color my thumb is? On to me, Mama. I am doing good. Working 53+ hours a week and going to school and trying to plan the wedding. It is a lot and I have a number of days where I want to quit everything and find a tiny studio and live there and not work and be a stay at home mom. I wish I could be a stay at home mom because I miss Zoie so much and feel guilty that I am not engaging her in as many activities that I would like to involve her in. I love my job and I love my clients and teaching these clients who are mentally ill to care for themselves really makes me a mom wherever I am! The wedding plans are going very well. I can not wait for my honeymoon! We are getting a condo right on the beach that is private on the island of Kauai Hawaii! I am going to snorkel with sea turtles and kayak in the ocean. We leave the beginning on June and I am very excited, although I will miss my Zoie so much! That is about all for now! God Bless!

Life Is Good : )

Well, here is another update of the Price familia. Things are going great. Crazy but great! Our little is growing up so fast it is hard to believe. I get emotional thinking about her growing up and how just last year she was still being swaddled at night and now she's running around and pushing her limits. I thank God everyday for my family and even when I get frustrated I know that I am not given anything I can not handle so I have to remind myself that for when I get frustrated with everything being so chaotic. Currently, Kris and I see each other one night a week : ( But again... God wouldn't work things out like this if we couldn't handle it and if there wasn't a purpose behind it... I hope. Work is going good for me, I love my clients and really feel fulfilled in what I am doing and I am glad I found my field of interest. School is going great! I finally love my classes and love learning about the brain and the social services field. Once I finish my Social services degree I will be transferring to either ASU or NAU to complete my masters and hopefully doctorate in human services/ forensic psychology. These are dreams of mine, who knows if it'll happen! Kris is also changing up his work field. Currently he is applying for the Border Patrol and has a written test to complete Oct 10. Hopefully he does well! If he gets in than things will be changing big time for us! I am so proud of him for working so hard for us and Zoie is so lucky to have such a good Daddy! So that about covers it for Mommy and Daddy. Wedding plans are going great! I can't wait because it is going to be so beautiful and also so much fun! Now, onto the good stuff! Ms. Zoie Lynn age 16 months going on 16 years! Our little girl is so grown up! She amazes me at how smart she is! She is walking and able to get on and off the bed by herself safely, she feeds herself (fairly) well with her spoon or fork. She is 2 1/2 feet tall and weighs 22 lbs. She has size 5 feet, almost 5 1/2 and wears 12-18 month clothes. She isnt talking much yet, and by talking I mean real words. She does plenty of her own talking but nothing Daddy or I can understand. She is pushing her boundaries! Oh my goodness is she learning to push buttons and Mommy cant help but laugh at her when she does, haha. She gets this look where she raises her eyebrows at me and has this, " come on you cant tell this face no!" look and of course, Zoie wins and Mommy gives in. Hey, what can I say I am a sucker for those beautiful brown eyes! She did have a little accident last week where she fell and bit through her lip, I KNOW! SO SCARY! Kris and I rushed her to UMC hospital where they looked at it and said stitches wouldn't be a good idea because she would probably just bite on them and make it worse so we left it alone. She did get a Dr. order for as much ice cream and Popsicle that mommy would allow so she totally loved that! We went to McDonalds after leaving the hospital and shared a mini Mcflurry and the entire time she is going, "Mmmm". Every time she sees food she goes, "Mmmm". I LOVE IT! She will read all day long! She loves reading! She also loves to sing especially to her cartoon the Backyardagains, she loves them! There is so much more going on but I have to study for a psych test tomorrow, gotta maintain my A average! Plus being at work by 7 am is tough... ahh such is life! I will leave you with one of my favorite motivational phrases I say almost everyday.
If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to your
mountain, "MOVE!" and it WILL move... and NOTHING will be
impossible for YOU!

California Trip

Well we survived our first overnight trip with the baby! We have visited CA before when Zoie was a month old but this time I was much more nervous since she is over a year. Zoie did great! We left Tucson around 6 pm and stopped in Yuma to let Zoie eat and run around McDonald's than we hit the road and she slept till we got to San Diego. Zoie had a great time seeing her Grandpa and playing in the Ocean. We visited the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Natural History Museum and of course the beach! Zoie walked for over 1/2 mile one day and wasn't even fussy. She loves to just walk and walk and walk! Here are a few photos of Zoie and some of her CA adventures.
Other than the trip things are going great in our house : ) Wedding planning is coming along great and Kris and I are so excited! I should be trying on some dresses in the next month or so, which I am very nervous about. School is starting soon which means double time for mommy. Thats about it!

Hello Blog remember me?

Hello world! We're back! It has been MONTHS since I updated this thing. I am terrible I know. Life is crazy and I will repeat that if it's between blogging and family duties than blogging will lose.
So let start with some updates shall we? The Price family is doing amazing! Things truly couldn't be better and I thank God every morning and night for my family and my life. Although, I do have those days where things don't go according to MY plan and I get really frustrated. Our first big update is that Kris and I decided together to get married, about time?? We decided that since things are starting to calm down it would be a good idea to commit ourselves together legally since we have already committed ourselves together through Zoie. We couldnt be happier, and plans are going very smoothly (especially since I got a wedding planner!) So I will attempt to post new updates with Zoe and wedding info. Kris is still trucking along at the old Cold Stone and doing great. His store is at the top for their sales so I am so proud of him! School is going good and I actually finally got a job in the field I have been wanting to get into. I now work for a company that teaches individuals who are SMI (severly mentally ill). It is an apartment setting and I teach clients everything from appointment attendance to showering. I LOVE MY JOB! I feel so fulfilled in what I am doing. The hours are pretty long and I am actually considering going to overnight because with school it will allow a lot of study time and that way when I am home more Zoie time. I will keep you posted. I am currently also attempting to lose my baby weight since I said I would lose it all by the time Zoie turned one and that didn't happen and now I HAVE to fit into a dress so I will also continue to post updates on that too. Thats about it for Mommy and Daddy. On to the best part, Z-O-I-E. Our "baby" is officially a toddler, my goodness time does fly by! At her one year well check she is weighing in at 19 lbs 6 oz, 30.5 in long. Dr says she is doing great. We also have a runner in our house! Bye-Bye crawling hello walking and running! She is the best little walker and I laugh every time I see her walking because she little bow legs are too cute. She is also 100% off the bottle, next step potty training! (we'll wait on that one for awhile though). She loves to eat too! Some of her favorites are; avocado, bananas, any vegetable, potatoes, spaghetti is her absolute favorite though! She is babbling like crazy. She isn't really talking though, which the dr said shouldn't concern us too much and to just continue to read to her a lot and continue to point and label things out to her. She understands what we're telling her so now it's just a matter of HER actually saying things. She is doing great all in all and we couldn't have a better baby. She is still super bald but that's okay! She loves her blanket and sucks her thumb for comfort which is the cutest thing ever! She is so kind hearted and sweet and I get all emotional just thinking about her! The other night I wanted some Zoie love so I went and got her out of her bed and brought her into Kris and mines bed and we slept all night and it was great. Kris took that photo of us in the AM. Zoie also LOVES dogs, and her first birthday party was dog themed and she picked it herself. Anything with dogs she adores and she actually sues the word dog correctly and can identify them which we go crazy over!My baby is growing up which makes me want another one especially since our Zoie is such an amazing baby. Maybe another one will be on the way?? We shall see! I will let you go with this and post some new pictures of her
